Our client operate a resort at Uluru (Ayers Rock) and are looking for a Licenced Security Manager to head the team of 10.

This is a unique opportunity to live and work in the beautiful red centre of Australia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure safety of all staff, guests and residents
• Document security policies and procedures created for the ongoing management of security measures at Ayers Rock Resort
• Provide direct training and oversight to all relevant employees, contractors, or third parties who have relationships with management
• Initiate activities to create information security awareness within the organization
• Work closely with community police force
• Perform information security risk assessments and act as an auditor on any behavioural matters that may require police intervention
• Implement security policies and procedures
• Continually review all system related security planning throughout the property
• Monitor compliance with information security policies and procedures referring problems to the appropriate departmental manager
• Co-ordinate the activities of any security committees that may be implemented from time to time
• Monitor the access control systems to ensure appropriate access levels are maintained
• Take and active role in the preparation of disaster and recovery plans
• Resolve customer complaints within levels of authority
• Maintain up to date knowledge on all resort activities

This would suit an ex-police member or security officer with managerial experience.

Communication skills and willingness to be hands on in the role a must!
