You will be working for a friendly, supportive childcare centre based in Nightcliff, NT.  This role is part-time and permanent.&n bsp; It is a great opportunity to join a centre that is growing and has career progression available for the right person.  They have good facilities and free car-parking for staff.

As Room Leader you will be responsible for the Kindy room. You will ensure that quality care and supervision is provided to the children at the appropriate development level. You will build relationships with the parents, children and staff and be involved in team meetings, training sessions and community initiatives. Also, you will be responsible for planning and evaluating high-quality programs for the children. You will create a warm, caring, stimulating and enjoyable environment that focuses on the child’s whole development.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following: -

• Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Early Childhood degree
• Proven experience working in childcare
• Good communication skills
• Proven leadership qualities
• Ideally, you will hold first-aid certificate and Working with Children Ochre Card.
